Nirmla Kumari Shaktawat Born in 1938, she pursued her education at M.B. College, Udaipur, and held the position of a Sociology professor at the University of Rajasthan from 1961 to 1972.
She initially served as a professor of Sociology at the University of Rajasthan from 1961 to 1972. Transitioning into politics in 1972, she secured a seat in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. Later, in 1980 and 1984, she was elected as a Member of Parliament to the seventh and eighth Lok Sabha.
Nirmla Kumari Shaktawat studied at M.B. College, Udaipur, during her academic years.
In 1972, Nirmla Kumari Shaktawat entered politics and was elected to the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. She later served as a member of the Lok Sabha in the seventh and eighth terms, representing Chittorgarh.
Nirmla Kumari Shaktawat was elected twice as a candidate of the Indian National Congress to represent Chittorgarh in the Lok Sabha.
